TGIF. It was a busy week and we have a busy weekend.

I missed two appointments this week. One of my doctors and a haircut. Sometimes the cold fashion way of keeping appointments on our calendar doesn’t work so well. There is good technology out there , I should use it!!

Our remodel project starts in two weeks. I had flooring picked out and ready to buy. When the email quote arrived, there was a line item that was suspiciously high. When I asked about it, the salesperson just called it a “typo”. It was a $1,000 typo and when I pressed him on it, he thought it was no big deal. It may have been as simple as a “typo”, but I didn’t have a good feel for the guy when we met…so he’s out. Start over this morning.

The ALS Clinic I’m going to has a coordinator (Peggy) that is excellent at her job. I’ve never seen anybody with so much compassion, empathy, capability, and responsiveness. Every time I talk to her, I tear up. I really can’t believe all that she can do and do it exceptionally well. She is working to get Tom into the ALS Clinic or an appointment with the neurologist. Those are tough appointments to get so I’m thankful to know her. I’m not suggesting that Tom has ALS, but he does carry the gene mutation and with us being triplets…well, it is a scary time for him.

It is a weekend of celebrating birthday this weekend. There are a few of them all bunched together.

Then a few high school friend as well, so we’re going out on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate. 🎉 🎂🥳
