Good morning, everyone. Who’s planning to leave the house today? Raise your hand.

I think I might’ve overcommitted with this LEGO project. The pieces are getting smaller, and I seem to be dropping more than I’m actually putting together. It might be time to hit Amazon and find some replacement pinchers or maybe borrow a kid (Wyatt) with tiny fingers.

We’ve been busy picking up the big items for the bathroom remodel the last few days. And when I say “big,” I mean heavy. Thankfully, the stores load your car for you, and we’ve got amazing family like Mark and Barb to help on the other end.💪 There’s no way Cindy and I could’ve managed that wood flooring alone. Mark, I hope your back is holding up.

On a more serious note, I’ve been blown away by the ALS fundraising efforts. Andy’s Army—Nicole, Alex, and Meghan—have done an incredible job. With 265 days to go until race day on October 12, 2025, they’ve already raised $10,500. What really gets to me is the generosity of people I don’t even know. Seeing their support for this cause has truly touched me.

Most mornings, I wake up hoping this is all just a bad dream. But as soon as I take that first step, reality sinks in. It’s like the movie Groundhog Day for me…except I don’t have to experience the ice cold shower. Then I see all of you stepping up for us, and it helps more than I can ever say. Thank you for your love, kindness, and encouragement. Cindy and I feel it every single day, and we’re so grateful to have such incredible people in our corner.

Have a great Sunday. For those in Minocqua be careful. Your high today is -6° and I see a -26° coming. These are not windchills. Stoke the fire.🔥 Who has to get the wood?

Love you guys very much! ❤️
