Hello and good morning everybody.

Yesterday was a quiet day in terms of stuff and thoughts.

Met up for a final session with many of the Tax-Aide counselors for a mandatory training session. I have to say that after 10 years, some of these requirements are not very helpful. It’s time to get into tax preparation and accomplish something. It seems to take so long to get to this point. Anyway…all the required training is finished and I’m in for another season. It was close this year…I waffled between quitting and sticking with this since October. I’m thankful I stayed. Besides…now I can do family and friends tax returns.

Brother Tim came over, along with our neighbor Mike to move the box spring mattress (it has a motor underneath) and a dresser. I think it took them all of five minutes. They made it look easy. I’m thankful the furniture is all out of the bedroom and we’re near ready to let the workers start demo on Saturday. It’s going to be so noisy this weekend so Bear is going to have a couple play-days where he can romp with his buddies.

Rest of the day was quiet. Snuggled up on the couch to stay comfy. While it’s warm by the fire, the thermostat is fooled by the fire so it doesn’t run and some of the house stays chilly. A good excuse to do nothing and watch some TV.
