Good morning everybody.

It’s a frosty day and I’m cozied up by the fire and the remote has the current temperature within 5 feet to be near 74. Cindy just returned from walk where the temperature is 12°F. In the past we would always walk Bear together and at least misery had company. It seems unfair that Cindy is picking up all the slack, and she does it without complaint…all day long.

Yesterday, the tile for the bath was ordered (all Cindy), next up is to get the hardwood flooring for the bedroom. Once we have both in hand, this remodel project can start. Certainly by the 2nd half of January.

My day consisted primarily of Tax-Aide work. The big item was passing the IRS certification tests. Glad to have that part behind me. You get two chances to certify and if you fail 2x in a season, you’re out until next year. So far I’m 10 for 10 since 2015. Whew!

Donna and Joe stopped by in the morning and dropped off some Polish food (yum) from a local deli. Stuffed cabbage rolls and pork cutlet (not really ethnic). It was dinner last night and now breakfast this morning.

Last weekend of the regular season of football so I probably won’t leave the house today. I will try and get dressed before noon. 😉
