The 1st day of the new year, there is nothing like staying in the pj’s and watching college football all day. Well, that’s what I did.

Cindy spent the better part of the morning cleaning up from New Year’s Eve…she wouldn’t take any help. Then a good afternoon nap for her was well deserved.

I tried to make some progress on the bathroom remodel. We got our 3rd quote and it’s in the ballpark of being reasonable. The quote is $18k and it’s primarily labor, we have to buy the materials. The 1st two quotes were both $60k+ and included everything, so this one will be half the cost. One more quote outstanding for my Excel spreadsheet and I’ll know for sure what we need for materials and then I’ll have a total cost. Time to shop and get some prices

I resigned from my leadership role in Tax-Aide yesterday. I haven’t totally given up on being involved, but I can’t spend the next four months focused primarily on taxes. This is more than likely my 10th and final year. 😟
