Good morning Tuesday!

To keep our bathroom remodel project moving along, we went to Studio 41 in Palatine. Wow!! There are too many options for putting together a stunning bathroom. If it weren’t for the cost, I would redo the master bath. I think we will end up with an ADA compliant bathroom and one that looks modern and sleek. Stay tuned.

After 5 hours of shopping yesterday and a lot of up and down to look at bath options, I was worn out and didn’t do much in the late afternoon. So the end of the day was quiet and the bedtime came early at 8:00 (or is that on time?)

A question was raised the other asking if it was okay to respond to these daily messages. Yes, I would encourage it. If there is something that you’d like to ask, I’m sure I have a response. I am writing from the heart and I don’t want to filter out what is going on in my head, my body, or our home. This daily journal has an end date, still unknown, but 50% of people with ALS die within 14-18 months of diagnosis. I’m almost 5 months since the diagnosis (Aug 13), and I feel, anecdotally speaking, like I’m functioning at ~75%. I’ll try and get an ALSFRS-R for tomorrow to give you better indication of where things stand. So feel free to ask or respond in any way you’d like, either to the entire group or separately… your choice.
