Late start for me this morning—I was finishing up a dashboard for the tax team so they could see the results of our combined efforts.

Last nights Super Bowl was great if you were an Eagles fan…not so much for the other team. I enjoyed the game…at least through 3 quarters. Then off to bed.

I must be getting really old, because the commercials during the game were lame and the halftime show was unexplainable to me. It started with a tic tac toe game and evolved into something akin to either the Hunger Games or Squid Game. So yes, I understood none of it and the music is just as confusing for me. I’d be more satisfied if The Rolling Stones came back one last time.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day at my computer doing tax work. Exciting, right? At some point in the afternoon, I glanced outside at all the sunshine. From the warmth of the house, it looked like spring was right around the corner. I know we still have some winter left, but without any snow cover, it feels like good weather is on the way.

That got me thinking about being outdoors and how I want to enjoy the warm weather once it finally arrives. I don’t want to just sit on the patio all day—I’m not ready for that yet. That led me down a rabbit hole of thinking about electric bikes as a way to get outside more. I don’t think my balance on a bike has been affected by ALS, and as long as I’m moving, I should be able to stay upright. Right? So, I’m going to do some research on e-bikes and see what makes sense.
