Hello, and love to all of Andy’s Army!

Andy always took pride in the fact that he knew all the words to the Don McLean song ‘American Pie’. All 8 1/2 minutes of it.

Five years ago, at a dinner party, we put him to the test. Sure enough, he knew every single word! I captured a few minutes of him singing that night.

A few weeks ago I went searching for that video, but couldn’t find it. I gave up.

Yesterday, Google Photos sent me a message to ‘share a memory of Andy’. It was the video!! I did not go searching for it, so I was stunned to see it!

I think it was a sign from Andy. “Don’t forget me… I love you all… And yes, I DID know all the words to that song. ❤️❤️”

Note: We got together for dinner on Saturday. We didn’t sing ‘American Pie’ but we wore our Andy’s Army shirts to remember the guy who knew all the words.
